Mark specialises in helping organisations plan, reorganise their business processes and position information technology as part of their overall IT Strategy planning. In working with organisations he aims to understand fully what the business aims and objectives are before embarking on any analysis of the business processes and technical requirements.

As Director of Aventia since 1998

Mark advises the Senior Management Team at Business West. He is helping this organisation steer its IT requirements to meet new challenges. He is also advising: a leading PR company on its IT strategy; a furniture manufacturer on replacing its order processing and inventory systems; and a fast growing insurance broker on integrating its CRM systems.

With Unilever International 1989-1998
|
|
Mark was responsible for managing the IT department of one of Unilever’s subsidiaries. He had responsibility for IT for all territories that made up the Group. Most of his work was focused on the head office but he developed strategies for the overseas offices, mainly in implementing MRP systems.

Before 1989
|
|
Mark spent over 7 years working with some of the big "four" consultancy firms (e.g. Price Waterhouse). He specialised in developing IT strategies.
Before that he carried out his graduate training with ICL.

- Accredited in Technology Means Business by the IT Forum Foundation.
